Prelude in E minor, Francisco Tárrega (1852-1909)

This is a short etude by Francisco Tárrega that sounds sad to me, for some reason. I created this video on January 6, 2021 in mourning for my country, and the five people who lost their lives in the chaos of those dreadful events at my nation’s capitol. Indeed, in mourning for all of the rioting, violence, unrest, and unheard voices that cry out for relief. I’m grateful for this simple and gentle way to allow my soul to bleed.
